Low carb is one of the most popular ways to lose weight. At the beginning of my young cycling career, I also lost more than 25 kg in this way, and a little extra sport as a supplement is of course a perfect fit. But low carb doesn't always mean no carb! This is because some foods that appear to be high in carbohydrates are not actually high in carbohydrates. Rice and pasta, for example, are real carbohydrate monsters and are absolutely not suitable for a low-carb diet, while potatoes in moderation are absolutely fine.
