The Giant Propel Advanced has always been one of my favourites Aero racing bikes. I even wanted to get it for myself once. I was particularly taken with the SL variant. For the Model year 2018 the engineers at Giant have upped the ante and made the frame even lighter than in previous model years. In addition, the designers - especially in the SL variant - upped the ante. The transition between seat tube and seat post is now almost invisible. As usual, there is Giant Propel Advanced again with different equipment from Shimano.
Giant always manages to manufacture the racing bikes at a reasonably low cost. That's how you get it Giant Propel Advanced 2018 With a Shimano Ultegra Equipment (mechanical) for something over EUR 3.000, -. A price that convinces. The big advantage of Giant over similarly priced competitors from Canyon or Rose: Giant has a local dealer network to offer and thus boasts service points and workshops compared to the mail order business. The advantages start with the fitting and continue to the first service, which is usually included in the purchase price at the dealer.
