STEVENS Cyclocross Cup 2017/2018 begins
Northern Germany's largest racing series for licensed and hobby drivers with eleven rounds starts on September 24th in Norderstedt.
On September 24th begins STEVENS Cyclocross Cup 2017/18 with the first run in Norderstedt. Until January 21, 2018, there will be another ten race dates around Hamburg, in Lower Saxony and Schleswig Holstein. With a total of eleven races, the STEVENS Cyclocross Cup is once again one of the largest regional racing series in Germany in 2017/2018.
Licensed drivers of all classes from youth to the masters can register for the racing series with immediate effect. And hobby cyclists can also enter the dates in the calendar, because all cyclists interested in cyclocross have their own hobby races, which can also be ridden on mountain bikes, for example. There is a separate overall ranking for the hobby runs, which have been growing steadily for years.
The STEVENS Cyclocross Cup 2017/2018 offers, as in previous years, varied races with very different courses and thus shows the versatility and fascination of cross sports: The race on September 24th in the Rantzauer Forest in Norderstedt will start with its technically demanding and fast course with many Curves on the largely flat route. From the Motocross to Cyclocross: The races at the end of October take place on the motocross track in Mölln. The 9th run in Büdelsdorf, on the other hand, offers a technically playful course with many single trails in the forest.
December 26th is the “Christmas cross“ in Hamburg-Appelbüttel the alternative or supplement to the Christmas roast. The series ends with the run on January 21, 2018 in Buchholz on the conditionally demanding course.
The 3rd run on October 8th in Norderstedter Stadtpark and the 10th run on December 26th in Hamburg-Appenbüttel will take place parallel to the nationwide advertised event Germany Cup Cross instead. At these races, the STEVENS Cyclocross Cup only takes place in the hobby races.
