As a cyclist I have traveled to many beautiful places in Germany, but none has impressed me as much as the Mecklenburg Lake District. The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful and offers an endless variety of activities and experiences.

One of the notable features of the Mecklenburg Lake District is its untouched nature. There are many wildlife sanctuaries to spot wildlife and experience nature. The many lakes also offer countless opportunities for fishing, sailing or just relaxing on the shore.
In addition to the landscape, the Mecklenburg Lake District also offers a rich history and culture. There are many historic sites and castles to visit, including Stargard Castle and Mirow Castle.
